Security Codes

& When you should use them

Security Codes work like a password and are used to access your account. Your account’s Security Code is set by the first upload where you enter a Security Code. If your first upload did not include one, then the first time you upload with a Security Code will permanently set it for your account.

⚠️ If your account already has a Security Code set, changing it without contacting support may cause uploads to be declined.

Once a Security Code has been set, changing it in Account Settings does not update the code used for uploads or login. If you change it without contacting us, your uploads may be declined because they will not match the code we have on file.

To safely change your Security Code, first update it in Account Settings, then email us with your username, previous Security Code, and new Security Code so we can update it on our end. Use your new Security Code going forward so we can sync it correctly.
